- In-app purchase transaction data (processed entirely by Google Play Billing on Android or the Apple App Store / StoreKit on iOS)

- Preferences saved locally on your device (e.g., language, bookmarks, app settings)
- Any content you create within the app (e.g., japa counts, meditation logs) — stored only on your device unless explicitly synced

- In-App Purchases: To verify and restore purchases (via Google Play Billing on Android and the Apple App Store / StoreKit on iOS)

4 Advertising & Data Sharing
We work with third-party advertising partners to display ads within apps that include our ad-supported tier. These partners may use cookies, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies to collect data about your device and app usage — such as IP address, device ID, and general location — to provide personalised advertisements.
Apple App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS devices, our apps follow Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. Where an app requests permission to track, iOS will show you a prompt asking whether you allow the app to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. Your device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) is only shared with advertising partners for cross-app personalised advertising if you grant this permission. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised, and the IDFA will not be used to track you.
You can review or change these choices at any time through your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track" (or toggle individual apps)
- iOS (personalised Apple ads): Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off "Personalised Ads"
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation (or reset your advertising ID)
Users who purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase are not shown third-party advertisements and have reduced data collection from advertising SDKs.
5 Data Retention & Storage
Most user preferences and app data are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is retained by Google according to their data retention policies (typically 14 months for analytics data).
We do not operate our own servers that store your personal data. Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data.
6 Children's Privacy
🔒 Our Services are intended for users aged 13 and older (16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove that information.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:
- Right to access: Request a copy of data we hold about you
- Right to deletion: Request deletion of your data (for locally stored data, simply uninstall the app)

8 App Store & Google Play Compliance
All downloads and in-app transactions are handled by the platform store you downloaded the app from — the Apple App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android. We never receive or store your payment card details.
Apple App Store (iOS)
For apps distributed on the Apple App Store, we provide privacy information through Apple's App Privacy ("Nutrition Label") details shown on each app's store listing, describing the categories of data collected and whether it is linked to you or used to track you. Our iOS apps are governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Apple's Privacy Policy.
Google Play (Android)
